1915(i) services from NC Medicaid help you live in your own home and community instead of a care facility.
1915(i) services are for children and adults with mental health conditions, substance use disorders, traumatic brain injuries or intellectual/developmental disabilities.
1915(i) services can help you:

Learn skills to participate in the community

Find a job that matches your skills

Move out of an approved setting to your own home

These services are available to people on Behavioral Health and Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities Tailored Plans. Some people on NC Medicaid Direct or the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians Tribal Option may also be eligible.
